New piece “The Tree” is recorded

Today recorded my new piece (which was originally written for one dance performance).

It’s called “The Tree”.

The story goes: a friend of mine – French choreographer Maëva Aurore Feitelson – found a haiku poem and asked me to write a guitar music for her choreography. She translated the poem for me into English: “What if i had a brush that could paint the plum tree’s blossoms with their perfume.” Shôha (trans. M.A.F.). After reading the text, I listened to some Middle East, Persian music and wrote the piece.
