Few days ago started writing a new piece for solo guitar.
The form reminds of a sonata, but with more freedom. It is nice to study different forms and know how to handle them, but it is exiting to open them up a bit and bring some freshness and unpredictability.
It will be a rhythmical composition, with some “Baltic melancholy” (a term, used by one of my teachers), African spirit and improvisation. A journey of Estonian-Russian to Africa, if wanted 🙂
